Description

The DistriCap is an automatic lid orientation and dispensing module designed to feed caps or lids (such as twist-off capsules) efficiently into fully automated packaging lines. It places lids “on the fly,” offering seamless operation and continuous product flow.

Highly versatile, it can handle various types of caps and lids, including long- or short-skirt twist-off capsules, cosmetic jar lids, pill bottle caps, and jerrycan closures. The DistriCap integrates easily into CDA lines, feeding standalone capping units like the VSA or inline cappers like the VS2000. It typically sits between a filling machine (K-Net Auto, K-Line S) and a labeling system (Solo or Ninon series).

The unit includes a stainless steel hopper, a vertical conveyor for lid orientation, a custom drop chute, a cap presence sensor, and a side transfer belt. Optional modules can include detection features such as foil seal presence.
